ellis+co is an investment, advisory and services company for small businesses.  

ellis+co was founded by Shawna Ellis, who had two goals: empower and support women to succeed in business and to give women the opportunity to pay it forward to other women. We are women helping women.

S. M. Ellis and Company is the original business services firm offering business consulting services, business management services and accounting services. Since 2003, Shawna Ellis has been advising and servicing small businesses throughout the United States.

Ellis and Company Real Estate is a real estate brokerage primarily acting as a tenant representative for lease negotiations and the purchase/sale of commercial property for our businesses. Shawna Ellis has been in the real estate industry since 1997, starting her career in multi-family real estate and transitioning into commercial real estate in 2003. She opened her Florida brokerage in 2017.

Acquisitions By Her is an investment firm that partners with women to operate and purchase cash flowing businesses. Over these past 25 years of managing businesses it became very clear that it is quicker and less risky to buy a cash flowing business than to start one from the ground up. In 2023, Shawna Ellis launched Acquisitions By Her, where women come together to invest in other women's dreams to operate their own business.

Katie and Hubbell is a boutique located in Saint Petersburg, FL. It features the largest selection of preloved clothing, shoes, accessories and home decor by Anthropologie. Most items are brand new with the tags. They also offer cash or store credit for customers preloved Anthropologie. The store is inclusive (offering sizes 00-26W), exclusive (selling only items originally sold at Anthro), and attempting to bring pure joy to all the Anthropologie lovers in the world.
